Montessori in Redlands and The Grove School invite you to Journey & Discovery on Saturday, February 11, from 8 am to 1 pm. This hands-on experience will give you a clear understanding of Montessori education through the ages.
See what your child does in school each day and what makes Montessori great. You'll take a silent journey through Montessori classrooms spanning toddlers to high school, then move to the group of your choice to fully discover the learning for Toddlers-3rd grade or 4th-12th grades.
This all-day event is for adults only."Drop-ins" are not possible. Breakfast snacks and lunch will be served.
Journey & Discovery is an immersive, end-to-end look at the Montessori curriculum from 18 months to 18 years. You'll get a comprehensive look at Montessori education from toddlers to teenagers, focusing on the age group that best suits your family's needs: 18 months to 3rd grade or 4th-12th grade (your choice).
For most of us, Montessori is vastly different from our own educational experience. While we can read about Montessori education, attend parent events, and observe our children's classrooms, we still don’t fully understand what our children do each day.
This event will help you get to know your child’s world. It is one of the most powerful experiences you will have in your time as a parent of a Montessori student.
Wear good walking shoes. Part of the event includes walking through a working farm.
