The 2026-27 school year marks Montessori in Redlands’ 50th year of providing authentic Montessori education. Founded in 1976 by a small group of parents who wanted to bring the magic of Montessori education to Redlands, MIR has remained committed to nurturing the full potential of each child through the Montessori method. Over the decades, MIR has cultivated a joyful and inclusive learning environment for children from 18 months to 6th grade.
The 50th anniversary is not just a celebration of MIR’s history, but a tribute to the vibrant and diverse community that has shaped it. As MIR commemorates this significant milestone, we’re inviting everyone - current families, alumni, community members, and beyond - to join us in planning ways to honor MIR’s legacy.
