Celebrating 50 Years of MIR

The 2026-27 school year marks Montessori in Redlands’ 50th year of providing authentic Montessori education.

Founded in 1976 by a small group of parents who wanted to bring the magic of Montessori education to Redlands, MIR has remained committed to nurturing the full potential of each child through the Montessori method. Over the decades, MIR has cultivated a joyful and inclusive learning environment for children from 18 months to 6th grade.

As we celebrate 50 years of MIR, we honor not only our history but also the generations of students, families, educators, alumni, and friends who have helped shape our community. Throughout this milestone year, we'll be hosting special events and opportunities to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate together.
