Support Services

On-Site Support to Help Students Reach Their Full Potential

MIR’s Student Services Program provides support to students who need direct help with academics, social skills, or physical development.

Our on-site specialists help students reach their full potential with services including

  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Executive functioning and social skills support
  • Tutoring support in math and reading, including support for students with dyslexia and dysgraphia

Services take place in our Student Services Center.

MIR follows the “least restrictive environment” principle. Students who receive services are fully integrated into their classroom communities.

Developmental Assessment

Families of students ages 18 months to 5 years are given the "Ages & Stages Questionnaire" each year to help them get a complete picture of their child's development.

If any concerns are identified, parents may be referred to their child's pediatrician or appropriate specialists, and the Student Services Team may conduct observations.

Families of students of any age are welcome to request observations by our Student Services Team.
